In 1832 two farmers built a mill next to the Hunns River in Norway. Their plan was to produce nails and other metal products for the local market. The plan worked out rather well. Two centuries and millions of fish-hooks later, the mill has been transformed into a world leader in fish-hook production and development.

And now we have Mustad HQ
The factory, located in the small Norwegian town of Gjøvik, is
the headquarters of the worldwide activities of O. Mustad & Son A.S. There are three separate units in Gjøvik: the wire drawing mill, the fish hook factory and the machine shop which makes long lining machinery for commercial fishing.
